Going on a group vacation with your friends can be amazing. No matter where you go, you’ll have so much fun together and it’ll be very nice to get away from the stresses of the real world, even if it’s only for a few days. It’s important, however, to take your vacation planning seriously. If you don’t properly pack, plan out the important details, and figure out the traveling situation, you could be in some big trouble. Here are some tips that can ensure you have the perfect vacation with your friends.
Plan a Special Night or Two
Planning is obviously a major part of the vacation process. It’s important to talk with everyone who is going and figure out what kind of fun events you all want to attend. If you make the final decision to spend a Saturday night at a concert, for example, there could be some major drama with your other buddies if you didn’t ask them beforehand. Make sure to discuss as a group exactly what kind of special night you want to have. Maybe you all want to go see a nice show or sporting event, if you plan that out ahead of time and make sure everyone is on board, your vacation should go very smoothly.
Go With the Flow
Although you should plan a couple of days and nights for your vacation, it’s also extremely important to give yourself plenty of free time, both as a group and as an individual, to go with the flow a little and do things you couldn’t necessarily have planned for. No one likes the person who has every single second of every day planned out on an itinerary. Have some open slots on your schedule to just wing it because those nights are often the best ones.
Figure Out Where to Eat
Maybe you want to eat chicken wings every single night while on vacation — that’s totally fine. You can wing this a little bit, too, but you should at least have an idea of a great place for you and your buds to grab some food at all hours of the night. Spend some time online searching for restaurants that are open late, possibly with fast food delivery, and certainly a place that offers chicken wings. In the U.S., about 90.1 pounds of chicken per capita was consumed in 2015 and there is a good chance that you and your pals were a large part of that.
Enjoy some late night chicken wings, plan a few special nights, and let yourself go with the flow a little bit as well to ensure a great vacation.
